App Store rating
Go Translate is rated 4+ in the Apple App Store, which means the App contains no material objectionable to children. This is the most permissive rating Apple awards.
What does 4+ mean?
According to Apple's age-rating policy, a 4+ app does NOT include any of the following:
- Realistic or stylized violence
- Sexual content or nudity
- Crude or mature humor
- Alcohol, tobacco or drug references
- Simulated gambling
- Horror or fear themes
- Profanity
- Medical or treatment information
Go Translate does not generate, advertise, or contain any of the above.
User-generated translations
The App translates whatever text you give it. As with any translator, the App can technically reproduce text you supply. Because translations happen on demand and are not shared with other users, the App does not expose children to content they didn't ask for.
That said, parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising what their children type or photograph for translation. Apple's Screen Time controls can also be used to limit the App.
