TV Remote ("the App") is designed so that your data never leaves your home.

1. What we collect

Nothing. The App has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs and no trackers. We do not collect, store or transmit any personal information to us or to any third party.

2. How the App works

The App communicates directly with your televisions over your local Wi-Fi network using each manufacturer's control protocol (Samsung, LG, Roku). Commands travel only between your iPhone and your TV.

The following is stored only on your iPhone (and synced to your Apple Watch), and is removed when you delete the App:

4. Photos and videos

When you cast a photo or video, the App streams the file directly from your iPhone to your TV over your local network. Media is never uploaded to any server. The App only accesses items you explicitly pick.

5. Local network access

iOS asks for Local Network permission so the App can discover and control TVs on your Wi-Fi. This permission is used for no other purpose.

6. Subscriptions

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchase data.

7. Children

The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here and the date above will change.
