TV Remote is suitable for everyone. It is a utility that controls televisions on your home network — it contains no content of its own beyond the remote interface.

What the app actually does

Sends remote-control commands (volume, channels, navigation) to TVs on your own Wi-Fi network
Launches streaming apps that are already installed on your TV — the content shown by those apps is governed by each service's own ratings and the TV's parental settings
Casts photos and videos that the user explicitly picks from their own library

Note for parents: TV Remote can open apps like Netflix or YouTube on your television. What children can watch inside those apps is controlled by the parental settings of the TV and of each streaming service — not by TV Remote.

In-app purchases & parental controls

TV Remote offers an optional Premium subscription (weekly with a 3-day free trial, or monthly). All payments go through Apple, and Apple's parental controls fully apply:

Children's privacy

The app collects no data from anyone — including children. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising identifiers and no third-party SDKs. Everything the app stores (your TV list and preferences) stays on the device.
